I looked for this Japanese film by the director of The Grudge for a long time. It was filmed in only 8 days between two of The Grudge films. Many have panned this film, but he has vision when it comes to film making, so hopefully we can all see his vision in this film. A camaraman rescues a woman, but it takes a while for him to figure out that she only feeds on blood.

Blood - (Japanese)

A police detective's attempt to solve an cold case murder gets him involved in a centuries long love Affair. It is a violent and erotic movie with a subtle story line. I do love the idea of a famous Samarai(Souji) being a vampire. Knowing a little bit aboutOkita Souji helps clear up some of the more subtle aspects of the movie. For instance, Souji was said to have Tuberculous, which explains why he has a bloody mouth before he becomes a vampire.
I understand that they may be releasing an English version of this movie soon, it will be interesting to see if they explain some of the subtleties in english dialog. I found the movie in two places:

A vampire is a business man in Las Vegas. He goes to the streets of Las Vegas searching for a rare but perfect blood type, so he can walk in sunlight. This is one of those movies that are so bad that it is almost enoyable. And, oh my goodness, he wears a cape.
